I have been trying to think of a way to post more often on this blog without it just being a big slideshow of images. As much as I love sharing images and I know you all love to see them, I want the content here to be a little more than just a show and tell. So today I am starting what I plan on being a weekly Q&A series where I answer 3-5 questions about boudoir every Sunday.
This week I could think of no better place to start than with my top three most asked questions about boudoir. This should be a really interesting one to those of you who have been following me for a while.
1. How Does Your Wife Feel About You Shooting Boudoir?
Yes, believe it or not this is probably my most asked question. I don’t blame people for being curious, but let me assure you that she is 100% aware of what I shoot and is very supportive of me and my art. She has even been known to come and assist on shoots, which is always a hit with my clients because she brings a little extra sass and feminine style to the shoot. As we started to grow our family, now with two kiddos, its hard to find child care for the both of us to attend, so in most cases now she just ends up staying home with the kids.
2. Do You Shoot Curvy Women?
This one is another that I am asked very regularly, and the answer is yes. I am happy to work with women of all shapes, sizes, and skin tones. A big part of my ‘Why’ for shooting boudoir has to do with helping all women feel sexy and look great, and that includes curvy women.
So if you are curvy and have been thinking about working with me, but weren’t sure… now you know. I look forward to hearing from you!
3. Can you ‘photoshop’ my imperfections (stretch marks, blemishes, etc)?
Believe it or not, I actually don’t do a lot of post processing on my images. The majority of my work to help you look great comes during the session, where I use posing, lighting and angle to help hide and minimize these sort of imperfections. That said, I do remove blemishes and can do more extensive retouching should it be requested/required.
That said, In most cases I will not do body modification (making your breasts look bigger, booty larger, etc). I want you to embrace your body and feel sexy with how you are, and if I am over here making your booty look huge or your breasts twice their actual size than I am not really accomplishing that mission.
So there you have it, my top three boudoir questions answered. I will be back with some more questions answered, but if you have any specifically that you want answered than go ahead and leave a comment below or drop me an email and I will make sure to answer it!
